Photo Frames & Poster Frames
At Designer Frames, we are pleased to be able to offer the widest range of frames available in New Zealand.
You will see both frames, and, fames with a mat. (a mat is a thin, flat piece of paper board, which serves as additional decoration and to separate the photo or art from the glass. Putting mats in a frame is called matting.)
Please note: the measurement of a frame is the inside measurement, not the outside of the frame. The inside measurement is the size of the image you wish to frame. the common photo sizes are inches, for example 6x4 means 6x4 inch.
The PRICE INCLUDES:
- The frame
- The 2mm glass
- The backing board – which keeps your image firm
- A hard board Back-standup - for the frames up to 10x8 inch size frames, so the frame can sit up on a desk.
- Larger frames are fitted with a hook to hang the frame: not a standup. These frames hang on a wall.
You will see we offer 3 GLASS OPTIONS
- Standard glass – 2mm clear glass
- Non-reflective glass – This glass will not reflect other things in the room
- UV filtering glass – The UV protection means the print or image will not fade
